My own take on "Sassy Water"

After weeks and weeks of rain, it is SO nice to finally be able to sit outside and enjoy my patio. I haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face this entire weekend - it's just so gorgeous outside.
This morning I woke up bright and early and decided to put together a pitcher of refreshing "Sassy Water" to enjoy all day while we are out on the patio. I first discovered this water recipe years ago in college in a cook book I had called "the Flat Belly Diet." There are a bunch of things I still make from that cookbook all these years later, and this is one of them.
I've modified the recipe slightly just to suit my own tastes - my advice is make it how you like it! If you like a really bold flavor, up the number of ingredients you include. If you're like me and you just like a splash of flavor, then use my recipe below!

Ingredients: 1 lemon, sliced
3 sprigs mint leaves
1 heaping teaspoon of grated ginger
1 small cucumber, sliced
1 gallon water
Instructions:
....put all that stuff above in the water! That's it!! One tip, I clap the mint leaves between the palms of my hands before i throw them in there to really bring out that minty flavor. I learned that one on bar rescue ;) Also - try not to eat all the cucumbers before you put them in the water.
This has got to be the most refreshing water I have ever sipped. Do you have any great water recipes? (That feels like a weird question to ask. Who has recipes for water? You know what I mean.) Share them in the comments below!
Now it's time to hydrate, relax, and enjoy this beautiful day.
